As a therapist, I pride myself in helping clients to feel validated and supported in living their best lives in adherence to their values, and to help put them back in the driver's seat of their own lives. I believe that meaningful change happens when we learn that our thoughts and feelings don’t have a switch, but that we also don’t have to be at their mercy. I try to support clients in learning skills in mindfulness, self-compassion, and leaning into what gives you joy. I also pride myself on being trauma-informed and I hope to help clients in learning how to integrate and process traumatic experiences more effectively. Clients have described me as warm, grounded, and thoughtful. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen and affirmed in all parts of who they are, including race, gender, sexuality, ability, and cultural background. I balance safety and a gentle way of challenging you to build more effective habits and relationships. When I’m not in sessions with you, I like reading, hanging out at the beach, and doing crafts. I also like to snuggle and annoy my cat.
